I've been killed many times by barely escaping the explosion with a sliver of health left only to be killed by the fire truck either hitting me with the water canon or the truck itself, lol. fire trucks in the PS2 version used to come screaming onto the scene to put them out, then take off again. The same happens when there is a fire when a car explodes. There's evidence to this because on YouTube there are compilations of pedestrian dialog where they'll say things like "another 20 years on earth, thanks" or "I was gonna be an angel, idiot" For example, when a NPC is killed the paramedics no longer rush into the scene to revive them as they did in the PS2 version.
What I noticed is that there's a few things missing from the PS3/Android version of this game. This week I actually realized it was available in Android and downloaded it for my phone as well. When I upgraded it was the first game I got.
